The baroque castle Wiederau will be refurbished and partially reconstructed as a consequence of the regional and historical remit. Main structural intervention took place in the 1990ies to maintain the status quo and to mitigate ground effects that led to the detoriation of the buidling. The current works focus on the recovery and the restoration of the original fabric and language of the facade as well as the interior, such as the original frescs by Fransesco Marchine. New facilities will be carefully integrated in the buidling. A feasibiltiy study for the previous baroque garden and the background facilities is currently developed.
