An existing steel chimney on a previous nuclear facility site had to be truncated. The design issued at ealier stages indicated an single guyed mast of 25m at the final stage. The proposals for the construction stage suggested a cantilvering chimney with a new base point structure in steel utilizing the exisiting footing. A structural analysis, the wind engineering and design was provided and the fabrication information issued for approval and construction.
