A comprehensive survey indicated huge damage to the historical masonry arch brigde caused by defect bridge sealings, unsufficent drainage slopes and damaged parapet interfaces. The masonry bond was restored including a historical sandstone cover whilst the bridge deck received an renewed waterproofing and finish.
